I began working in the banking industry when I was 16 as a student intern.  I was given the opportunity to work in many facets of the bank, from learning the proper procedure of processing paper checks to emptying trash cans.  God blessed me at an early age allowing me to learn in an industry that I have grown to love.  During my time in High School I accepted the Lords to call to ministry and once I graduated I moved to Little Rock to attend Seminary.  I was only there for a year when the bank I was worked for back home called to see I would come back.  I did and God used that opportunity to show how he is in control.  I was only there for a couple of months when I was given the opportunity to work for a different bank as a teller (they had the old teller machines, no computers) and was given the opportunity to work learn and work in their secondary market.

This experience showed me how amazing it was getting to help people buy a home and how that would change their lives.  During my time there I would preach in different churches, then God opened the door for me to go to college.  I left and started College at Central Baptist College in Conway Arkansas.  God continued to open doors for me to work in banking and I started working for First State Bank of Conway.  I worked there while I was in school and where I meet my soon to be wife Magen, we have been married for 12 years.

I started working for a credit union after graduation.  Once we were married I had a church in Fort Smith call and ask me to become their associate and youth pastor, I accepted and moved to Fort Smith shortly thereafter.  Since that time I have pastored 2 churches one in Texas and one in Arkansas.  I continued to have a regular full time job to help support my family.  God then opened another door for me to come back home to work for a family business.  By this time, I had two kids, my daughter Maggie and my son Rushing.  Little did I know at that time but my mom had cancer.   I believe 100 percent that God brought us back home so my kids could get to know their Mimi better.

After my mom passed I really struggled with what I should do, but God was working on it.  A few years passed by and God opened the opportunity for me to get back into a work I fell in love with helping people get into a home and forever change their lives.  God does not do things by accident I believe he has allowed me to go through all these challenges so that I can help families who are wanting to buy but are unsure if they can.  I believe with God anything is possible, His ways are greater, if we just submit he will provide.

I have served as a Rotarian, Lions Club, Board of Trustee for Jacksonville College,
